The Solarium

By day the Solarium is sun-washed and airy and by night it is immersed high in the dazzling city lights of midtown Manhattan. This loft like space has white walls, high ceilings, a regal fireplace and a terrace with downtown views of the Chrysler Building, giving the space a world-class formality. The Solarium can be an elegant setting for an intimate party and beautiful backdrop for any of your NYC events including your next cocktail reception, or private dinner party.

The Penthouse

The Penthouse is the most classical of the Roger Smith's facilities for your NYC meetings or conferences. The 16th floor Penthouse is a gorgeous setting for an intimate party and the perfect backdrop for you next event in New York City. The space gives the impression of an old-world living room or parlor with its dramatic vaulted ceiling, classic detailing and warm surroundings. An accessible terrace runs the length of the building, giving dramatic views of the East River, the Hudson, the Chrysler Building, and the heart of Midtown Manhattan.

The Winthrop Room

The Winthrop Room, on the Mezzanine level is the hotel's most traditional space for New York meetings. With high-speed wireless internet, ample room for all of your audio visual needs and interior courtyard windows with natural light. Also great for a NYC Conference, this 700 square foot space is ideal for any kind of meeting.

The Starlight Loft

The Starlight Loft features wide-plank hardwood floors and massive oil painting murals, created by the Resident Artist and CEO, James Knowles. It is a colorful and dynamic atmosphere that is sure to inspire great creativity for any event. This room, the most spacious one in the hotel, provides plenty of natural light and is perfect for any kind of event. The Starlight Loft can also be combined with our Screening Room for even more space for your NYC events.
