How do I get to the hotel?

The Roger Smith is located on the corner of Lexington Avenue and 47th Street in Manhattan, conveniently close to public transportation, and just a short walk from Grand Central Station. From New York’s airports, take public transportation and connect to the 4, 5, or 6 trains to Grand Central.

Is there valet parking? How much does it cost?

Yes, we do. Drive in to the Roger Smith and leave the parking to us. We charge $50 for regular sized vehicles and  $60 for SUVs for 24-hour parking periods. We cannot offer in and out privileges.

What’s the best way to get around the city?

The Roger Smith’s central location in Midtown places guests within easy walking distance to some of New York City’s most iconic landmarks, including Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Center, Chrysler Building, United Nations Headquarters, the Shops at 5th avenue and more. New York’s far-reaching subway system is the fastest way to get to other neighborhoods such as the West Village, SoHo and the Upper West Side, while Citibikes—stationed just a block away—make for a convenient way to explore the bike-friendly city on two wheels.

Is there housekeeping service?

Yes, we provide housekeeping service daily.

I love some of the items in my room, can I purchase them and take home with me?

We are flattered you love the items in our rooms! Unfortunately, they are not for sale.

What are the normal check-in and check-out times?

Check-in begins at 3pm, and guests must check out by 12pm.

Can I store my luggage before or after I check out?

Yes, our team is happy to store your luggage on check-in and check-out dates.

Can I have my clothes laundered and dry cleaned?

Yes, we are happy to arrange for dry cleaning services.

Do you have a shoe shine service?

No, we do not.

How do I schedule a wake-up call?

We are happy to arrange wake-up calls. Please contact the front desk staff to arrange a time.

Can I have ice sent to my room?

Yes. Please speak with the front desk staff directly to arrange.

If I am traveling on business, what types of services can you support me with?

Roger Smith offers smart business amenities, including complimentary WiFi, free local calls, assorted Greek yogurt and granola, and guest passes to the nearby New York Sports Club.

Do you have a gym? If so, what type of equipment can I expect?

We have partnered with New York Sports Club to offer our guests free passes to location on 51st St and Lexington.

Where can I securely store my valuables?

Guest rooms include a personal safe for storing valuables, and our reception also has a safe.

Can I bring my pet to the hotel?

We ask that you leave your furry traveling companion at home. Roger Smith does not allow pets.

Can I smoke in my room? Or in the public spaces?

No. The Roger Smith Hotel is entirely smoke-free.

Is there parking? How much will it cost?

The Roger Smith offers off-site valet parking. We charge $50 for regular sized vehicles and  $60 for SUVs for 24-hour parking periods. We cannot offer in and out privileges.

Can I leave my car in the parking garage after checking out? Will there be an additional charge?

Valet parking is based on a 24-hour period from the time parked. Rates for the next 24 hours are applied thereafter.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancelation policy is determined by type of booking. Please refer to your booking confirmation for details.

How late can we check in?

Check in starts at 3pm.  Reception is available to check you in 24 hours a day, but to better prepare for your arrival, we ask that guests provide their estimated arrival times.

Do you have room service?

We’re happy to help arrange food delivery from dozens of nearby restaurants, including, American, Italian, Indian, Chinese and Turkish cuisines
